About Artisan Cycle Workshop
Artisan Cycle Workshop was founded on precision, discipline, and a genuine passion for cycling.
Before entering the cycle industry, I spent 13 years serving as an aircraft engineer in the British Army, maintaining Apache helicopters. In military aviation, there is no room for guesswork. Every component, tolerance, and torque setting matters. Safety, reliability, and attention to detail are non-negotiable.
As a passionate road cyclist and triathlete, I understand the trust riders place in their equipment. Whether you’re racing, training, or heading out for a long weekend ride, your bike should perform exactly as intended. My goal is to give you complete confidence every time you roll out.
The name Artisan reflects more than just craftsmanship. Within the British Army, an Artisan is a highly skilled engineer trusted to build, repair, and maintain critical equipment to the highest standard. That philosophy is at the heart of everything I do. This isn’t a workshop built around volume or rushed jobs—it’s built around doing things properly.
When I left the Army and moved into the cycle industry, I brought that same engineering mindset with me. Today, I’m a qualified cycle mechanic with professional industry experience, specialising in servicing and maintaining road, gravel, and time trial bikes. From routine servicing and complete strip-downs to race-day preparation and performance-focused builds, every bike receives the same methodical, detail-oriented approach.
I believe quality bike servicing isn’t just about replacing worn parts—it’s about understanding how every component works together to deliver a bike that shifts crisply, runs quietly, and performs exactly as it should. Every service is carried out with care, precision, and the standards I’d expect from my own bike.
If you’re the kind of cyclist who values reliability, performance, and meticulous attention to detail, you’ll feel right at home at Artisan Cycle Workshop.
